I use Wild 1's 8 1\2" mini apes - I'm 6'4" and seem to work for me..

Yeah that would be a real easy fix. But from what everyone says the SG or any of the FLH bars will not fit on a RG. They are too wide.

I too am considering a bar change for my RG. I've heard that all the cables, brake lines etc. will interchange if I go with the Herritage bars, what about the Dyna wide glide bars? I kind of prefer the look of those.

I tried both the Heritage bars and Wideglide bars. I didn't like the grip angle of the Wideglide bars. I liked the the Heritage bars but felt I needed a little more pull back. I ended up with a set of bars from Khrome Werks. They offer the Heritage bars 2" taller. The cables did not need to be change. The bars pushed me back into the seat further and I have better control. I got the bars thru Zanotti's for $45.00 shipped. Custom Chrome part number 31-026
