Personally I would not change the front wheel, I did it on my road king but this is a whole different animal. However I agree with the fishtails as that will give it the right look and sound, shame you can't keep the stock seat on and get the wife on her own bike...I did
Got the new seat and fishtails on.
Seat is the ccrider and it was real nice to sit a little lower like my old street glide. The wife likes it and we think it fits the bike well. Still plan on taking the stock seat to a shop and having a 2UP made with the same style of stitching pattern.
added the full baffled fishtail slip ons, jldidnt get any louder just a little deeper. Not planning on doing motor work so these should suffice .
may eventually buy a better quality , these were the sharkroads.
lowers fairings , bars and install stuff is supposed to arrive today. Hoping I get a couple hours this weekend to install and sort out the stereo build out.

I concur about the bike, except I cant picture the 21 front tire on that bike. I even shopped around on images of Road Kings with 21 front wheels. 21 goes with apes, cruiser style bagger. You do not have a cruiser style bagger. You can make it one, you can do what you want. If you do it, keep the original front wheel tire axle and parts as if you ever sell it, those will add value.
Love the bike, the fishtails, the seat and the fact that you are riding 2 up. I notice the QR rack attachment. Possible tour pack in that classic white and youd be world ready. Does it have cruise control?
Congrats on your new ride, its a beauty. I agree with blown alcohol, that seat goes great with the bike. The white pinstriping on the tank, runs right into the white on the seat. If u and the wife are comfortable on the seat, id be leaving it on.
