Default tire pressure

In morning 0430, tire pressure correct, 36 front, 40 rear, get off work, bike in sun all day, both tires up almost 2 pounds. Would you leave or let some out? Next morning would have to inflate again before going to work. Thinking leave them be.

Leave it be.

I have TPMS on my last two bikes with RDRS. When out on the road, my tire pressure increases by 5-6 lbs due to the heat from rolling friction.

Point is, it fluctuates more than people realize.

36/40 is proper at 70F not ridden yet. If it is 90F ambient and the air inside the tire has warmed up to that and the bike hasn't been ridden yet, then 38/42 is the right pressure. Air pressure increases about one psi for every 10F of temperature rise of the sir inside the tire. leave it alone

Is that when you swap out your winter/summer, or summer/winter air?

Be sure to only use high octane air and be sure to rotate it side to side so it gets in all the crevices.

In the Texas heat my tires my climb to 48 in the rear after riding but starting out at only 40 in the morning.
