I got another email. 20% off this time, bit the bullet and purchased the update.

$119.00 and change. In lieu of $149.00 and change.

Slow AF to download and install on USB tho.

Maybe now I wi t be showing as riding in the mountains even though I am on a paved road, foothills parkway…

unless they've moved the mountains and roads, that will not solve your issue. that has to do with the number of satellites and quality of connection.

Well, since it was what I call the eastern stretch and it would show me on the western stretch, I think it was program. We shall see. Update for entire country.

I can verify in AZ next month as my house sits on a new freeway that always has me in the desert.

Thats Ok until they release another map update this year and you have to pay AGAIN!
I spoke with HD about this and was told the cost only covered ONE update, if another was released in the same year it would NOT be covered!

I thought Boom audio updates are free to download unless you take it to the dealer. Can you please provide a link
