Hey guys hopefully someone can help me first time on here! Doing a LED mod on my Speedo and tack everything went smooth on my tack. Then did the speedo, the lights that illuminate the numbers work but the lights that are my battery, gas, 6th, engine and key light will not illuminate they are facing the correct direction
Based upon the screen name, I'm assuming that you are working on an '07 touring bike.
The LEDs in the tach and speedo are soldered to the boards, thus I also suspect you are inside the gauges.
The reason these specific LEDs don't light up is likely due to poor connections at the solder joints, damage to the traces (opens), or possible issues w/ the resistors needed to create the correct forward voltage for the LEDs.
I'm usually unafraid of such mods, but the effort and skill required to disassemble & reassemble the gauges has kept me from changing these LEDs out myself.
