Here is the deal.....I love the look of the Steet Glide but the wife hates the hard saddlebags (?) says they look cheap. She does however like the laether flamed ones on the 07 & 08 SE Road King, but a bit pricey at $31K! SO, can I get the bags off of it and put them on the Street Glide?

Yes you can. There have been several guys over on the cvoharley site that have went the other way to hard bags. I see the leather bags from time to time for sale in the various forums. To each their own!
So I can get the ones off of a Road King and put them on a Street Glide? If I can, there may be a new bike in the works! I like it the Street Glide the way it is, she doesn't. Or can you put the fairing off a Streetglide on the Road King? Need some help here guys. Of course if she takes a riding class she may get her own bike! Sporty 883?
Okay, thanks guys. SOFTY.....don't worry, I will makesure you stay safe there in the states while I am here in Afghanistan. Just trying to decide what to do when I get back. Want a touring bike the way I want it.
