Anyone know how to remove the front cover of the lower fairings.
I bought and installed the advant black lower fairings. I would like to open up the side that is closed but unable to figure out how to remove the panel.
I even looked at the instructions from custom dynamics for their lights that go there but still unable to figure it out.
I like the look of the lowers and have speaker pods on top of mine. Just want a bit more air flow through them here in hot Florida.
If I’m understanding you... that panel snaps in and out.
If you want airflow, remove the panel on the back of the fairing lower first, held in place by two nuts, panel pictured on the left, then push out that solid panel that’s in front, and replace it with these Harley grills. Leave the back panel off, as it otherwise blocks most your airflow.

Here ya go. They had them in stock at a dealer when I bought them. Not sure if they can be ordered on line or not. They were $17 apiece, plus tax. One caveat. I am running Harley factory lowers. But I also ran some TCMT Amazon hard lowers first, and while not identical, they are nearly identical. I never tried the grills on the TCMT lowers, before I ordered factory painted lowers. But for $34, it will be a cheap experiment. I predict they will fit the Advanblack lowers.
