Barrel Key
Look to have a spare barrel key made, HD part # 71452-91A. The MOCO states it is not available. Are there any aftermarket vendors or can a local local key shop make one?

I just went and had one made by a local locksmith. Even if you don't have the code, they can "read" the key and get another one made. Ride the bike to the shop so you can try it before you leave.

When you say "the MOCO says...", did you try a Harley Dealer? Is your bike a relatively recent model? If so, they'll certainly be able to hook you up with a spare key for your bike. I ordered a TourPak lock for mine, through my local dealer. It came with 2 keys matched to my ignition key, so now I have a total of 4 matching keys. I think the cost of that part was $70-80.

A local key shop can make them, it will be cheaper as well.

On my 1992 FLHTCU I went by the dealer and gave them the code off the key ( along with showing proof of ownership ) and they got me a key ... Of course that was a long time ago

Lots on ebay. If you know the code number you could possibly get one already done. If not look for a blank and go to a locksmith. Just search the part number on eBay

2015 Softail slim only came with one (barrell type)key. I went to Harley dealer and they had to order a set of 2, I recall it being about $30 for the 2, that was only like 3 years ago, I had to show them proof of ownership. I'm not sure why they couldn't get the keys for yours.
