I would follow up with your primary care doctor, he or she should order a cat scan just to check and make sure that your not infact having some kind of neurological event. The questions you are going to have to answer is primarily historical in nature...Any head trauma, alcohol consumption, recreational drug use, and recent illness such as fevers of unknown origin, head colds etc. Definately follow up though, hate to tell war stories but I have seen what appears to be a normally healthy guy wake up dead because they just "blew off" the warning signs. Wish you well and good health and you will be in my families prayers.

I have had a couple of spells,(same ride day about a month ago)but it only happened when on the interstate running above 70and either being passed by a semi or passing one. I quit riding the interstate because it scared the sh*t out of me. I also had my bp meds changed, and changed the windshield. Have not been back to try it out yet. It is a scary thing. I do think it is more of the wind coming from under the fairing than over the shield. I never noticed anything until taking the lowers and the fairing deflectors off for the summer. It is a freaky thing when you are running 75 or so and you feel like you are going to pass out and you have to roll into the throttle to get out of the wind from asemi that is5 feet from you.
I had the same thing happen to me on more than one occassion with the 4" screen. I put it down to the wind buffeting and vibrating my helmet quickly. I felt dizzy and like I was going to sleep, I pulled over and felt fine. I now have an ultra with a 4" screen but don't run it on longer trips. It has happened to me also and I am still here, just the buffeting.
I don't know what's going on. I have been riding sport bikes for years and never had this problem. I just bought my first Harley, 07 SG and I have been getting little dizzy spells. Is it all the wind buffetting on my head? Anyone know what's going on? Feaking the hell out of me.
Sounds like the vertigo I had. You don't need to have an ear infection to get it. Has something to do with the tubes in your ear. The fluid crytalizes as you get older and doesn't move as it should. My Doc put me on a spray decongestant which cleared it up. Good luck.
