Default M8 Bugs ?
What year did the mother ship finally get the bugs out of the M8 to the point you’d buy one no questions asked ? I’m looking around for a RK Special and I wouldn’t pay the Moco Tax. They can keep the new ones lol.

2020 is when the oil pump issue was sorted out. In 3 years I went from a 07 with a 96”TC to a 14 103HO TC to a 21 114” M8. The increase in displacement and M8 combination is by far my favorite simply because the power smooth delivery.

One of the theories about why oil transfer was seen more in touring bikes,is this they get road more, and get hotter. Which might why some people have issues.

Anything built after May 2019. Having said that, I put 30k trouble free miles on a 2017 cvo.

I’ve owned every year of an M8 touring bike except 2023, no issues with any of them.
