I get a little decel popping but it doesn't bother me enough to even worry about it.

Monstermile,

I'm with you there. Mine pop too ('07 Fatboy) but it's not really enough to bother me. My neighbor sez his '04 Fatboy SE slip-ons pop as well, and they were installed when he bought it new, at the dealer's... go figure. He's the guy who helped me install mine. (Thanks Ron!)

I have the big sucker and the oval slip ons from V&H so it made sense to go with the V&H fuelpak. I was cheap compared to some of the others but with the easy plug in and chart settings it went soo smooth that I didn't believe it so I went through it again to make sure. total time pipes air and fuelpak 1.5 hours. Asfor those who say dont waiste your money you dont have one so you cant say.

Minor popping...but mine is the older version. I have a return authorization and will ship it for the newer model once the ice hits. I can easily live with the bit I have now until then.

I did the stage 1 air filter, the download, and I added SE slipons.
Is the fuelpac still my best option?

Depends. If you know now or even think there is a possibility you will do engine upgrades in the future then no it is not. If you plan on nothing more then it is a good option. The best??? Opinions will vary greatly depending on who you ask. Most people who use the Fuelpak are happy with the results. But no matter what the product there are always going to be the ones who are not happy or are going to say their choice is the best choice.

I use the Fuelpak as well and have had great success with it. I do not have any decel pop and the bike runs stronger and cooler.
