It more than likely is the fuse. 15A. Check left side panel fuse box and see what you have. If you have a wire shorted somewhere in the system, then that will cause the fuse to blow. There is nothing in the system that can provide enough load on it to blow it by itself unless there is a problem.
If you have the Service Manual (which you should have before the next piece of chrome) the wiring diagrams shows you what you need.
Good luck. Most people find the Fender Tip light wiring on the front fender to be suspect on numerous occations.
