Been away from telling my wife what the parts cost game for a couple years. Now when I go to vendor sites, it seems like you need a secret decoder ring to select the right handlebars. I am looking to fit a 2022 RK Spec with 14,15 and at the most 16" bars. I used to run Factory 47 on my two Road Glides. What is the best site to purchase bars and cable/lone extension kits from? LA Choppers and Factory47 site layouts have changed, it feels like the big parts suppliers keep buying the smaller guys out and diluting the customer experience online.
Please suggest brands and models....I dig the 1.5" classic looking apes....will I need a new clamp in order to fit the cover back onto the Nacele?
If 14" work for you, the go to KST Kustoms for a set of their Pioneers (traditional/classic bend). They are 1.5" OD and available in black or chrome. Plus being part of their Vanguard Collection, they are fully adjustable...the uprights can be adjusted for pullback & comfort.
I have chrome 12" Pioneers on my 2020 RGL. I like chrome and the traditional bend, and wanted a "flatter" wrist bend...love them! And the bonus...the absolute easiest bars to internally wire...stupid easy!
They can at least give you an idea of what you might want or need. Kind of a one-stop-shopping with different brands, OR......
You live in FL......go to BikeWeek! First week of March ain't that far away.. Go to one of the MANY bike vendors there. You can try different handlebars and can usually get them installed the next day....cheap. KST did some on my Street Glide a few years back while I "waited" (drank a few beers and looked at women while walking around for an hour)
