Default Front wheel

Good afternoon all. When I traded my 2001 RK for this 2008 Ultra Classis I kept the new front 21 inch wheel and tire. Question: besides having to change wheel bearings it should go right on the Ultra Classic, correct? On the 2001 RK I didn't even have to move the fender. So I'm thinking I should be good to go on the 2008?

Since the 08 uses 6205 bearings which are narrower, you will need to use the bearings, center spacer and left spacer bearing out of the 08 wheel.

@multihdrdr will have the final say.. He's the HD wheel expert.

Like Max said ... change to the 25mm bearings and use the (08-later) center spacer sleeve from your OE 2008 wheel along with the Bearing Shim/Spacer that's under your Left front bearing (if you have Original wheels on the 08).

See the following thread about Bearing shims on your 08 ... Sealed Wheel Bearing Shims/Spacers - What they look like...Where they go

Also probably need to change the 11.5" rotors on the 2001 to 11.8" used on the 2008

Regarding the fender, tape a 1/4" nut on the tire and spin the wheel. If everything clears the fender, you should be good good.

They share the same frame and fork configuration...as others have said, bearings and spacers needed...should not be an issue with the fender if it worked on your 2001
