Does anyone know IF Apple Car Play is available on the first version of the Boom Box radio? (I believe its also called 4.3) My "uneducated" guess is that Apple Car play is NOT compatible or available with the original Boom Box (2015).
What the dealer told me is that you pay the 350, that unlocks your navigation permanently. The 350$ includes 3 years of live traffic and weather overlay on the factory GPS. If you don't renew the subscription, you still have navigation, just not the live traffic and weather. I'm pretty sure that is the same way Indian runs their stuff.
I wouldnt be surprised if the $350 got you map updates, traffic, weather but if that was required to,pay for navigation Id be very surprised. Especially since its not shown as an available feature..

GT model, is that what you are talking about? Mine is 2016 GT and it does not support CarPlay. You have to upgrade to GTS , which is $2000 or you can buy used one from eBay for about $1k.
I paid the $150 to update the maps on my 2020 RoadGlide. They were getting dated and a lot of newer roads weren't in the maps. First time I've ever done that. I do a lot of riding in AZ and UT and cell service can be sketchy. It's nice to have updated maps if I need to navigate my way out of some remote canyon.
from what i've been hearing, once you pay the $350, you get all the features, traffic, weather, updates, etc. for 3 years. after 3 years, if you don't re-subscribe, then the weather and traffic will stop working, but you'll still have navigation. you just won't get updates to the maps.

This is what one of my area dealers told me, as well. He has been wrong in the past, but this made sense.
