Again....kinda begs the question "why doesn't HD create their own reverse as an optional add-on?". IF they did, and trained their shops how to install then it probably would be fully warrantied part and install. IMHO I think it's a missed opportunity for HD.

When I installed mine I was quoted 1.5 to 2hrs job by a dealer. Same with Indy.

I asked the Champion rep when I got mine how long would it take to install. I can tell you the directions are really good and detailed. He told me they install them in 3 hours but a shop that has never done one could take up to 6 hours depending on the mechanic.

I think Baker is another brand but not familiar this them. I think theirs is a bit different where they have a separate reverse gear that you shift into like the other gears. You don't have to go through the neutral dance like the others.


Spoke to Champion, they will not be in Daytona . Same with Eurosong (MMD). Will go to the Motor Trike booth and chat them up.
