Default custom dynamics vs hd bag lights

i have the harley turn signal lights on my bags, pn 67800242A. to this point ive been pretty happy with them, theyre bright and they have the nice connectors and integrate into the factory harness seemlessly. the problem is, looks like one of them took a crap on me. i havent switched the plugs yet to see if its the light or a replaceable part (the lights arent available seperate from the kit). its a pretty simple system so im going to just assume its the light, not the module at this point. this poses the question, cd or hd? i know cd has a lifetime gaurantee on their lights, but i feel like 10 years out of the hd lights is acceptable. the hd lights not only integrate well electrically, they go well visually, they match the tour pack and the filler lights, as you would expect with products from the same company. i really am considering the cd lights but the hangup is how will they go with the existing lights on the bike? im not wanting to drop 250$ on lights to get them installed and have them look like a patchwork setup where ill need to go and drop 400$ on the cd tour pack lights, even though they do look pretty slick. this is the pn for the cd lights, PB-SB-BCM4, for those with a tour pack, how do they flow with your tail light and factory tour pack lighting? the pipe lighting has me a little hesitant.

thanks in advance.

It's easy to go down the $$ rabbit hole when it comes to lighting, CD are nice but the gauge of the wiring and the tiny tiny connectors have always bothered me. I know carrying the current is no problem but it would be nice to have more robust wiring just because of the environment they live in. I did speak with someone from CD and something is in the works to upgrade the wiring.
I have these https://www.customdynamics.com/low-p...arley-davidson and they are slick. Smoked lens with red running and brake, turning amber sequential for turn signals.
I also have CD fog lamps with amber lens and they are nice.

do they pair up well with the existing lights on the bike or do they look added on?

I didn’t really like the tube look of the new probeam lights so I went with CDs old style lights with smoked lens. I bought them as new old stock on eBay. My saddlebag lights are part number PB-SB-BCM4 and tail light is CD-CD-TL-NW-S. I don’t have a pic with the tourpack in it but here’s how CD the lights look.

I think they match pretty good with the tourpack. To me, they look better with the tourpack than the probeam, but that’s just my opinion. It’s a subjective thing and someone else might think the opposite.
