Our bikes depreciate fast enough without putting on more miles than we really are.
LOL, you could always just change out your speedo, and get one with zero miles. LOL I would never do that, but I am sure some have. I always wonder when I see an add like '01 RKC, 780 miles. Either they wasted their money, or they are swaping out the speedo. And with a lot of guys doing their own maintainance, they could hide anything. It sucks, but I believe some are doing this.

As far as a difference in speed goes, the police set up a trailer radar gun, to get people to slow down. It doesn't take a picture, or anything, but lets you know you are speeding. I passed one the other day, my speedo said 45mph, and the trailer said 42mph. Either this thing was not calibrated recently (my thoughts) or my speedo was wrong. Either way, it doesn't matter much to me, but I did notice the difference.

Yeah, papa, I've thought the same thing about low milieage bikes.

My speedo seems to be 3 milesfast no matter what the speed. We have those radar signs around here as well, and that's how I've checked.
