Odometer
Our bikes depreciate fast enough without putting on more miles than we really are.
As far as a difference in speed goes, the police set up a trailer radar gun, to get people to slow down. It doesn't take a picture, or anything, but lets you know you are speeding. I passed one the other day, my speedo said 45mph, and the trailer said 42mph. Either this thing was not calibrated recently (my thoughts) or my speedo was wrong. Either way, it doesn't matter much to me, but I did notice the difference.
My speedo seems to be 3 milesfast no matter what the speed. We have those radar signs around here as well, and that's how I've checked.
