Got call from my dealer yesterday. He advised that there is a delay on the POSE bikes because the supplier of the POSE badges for the tank are delayed. Had ordered Ultra at begining of August. Now told possible October arrival. Arrrgghh
Its the decal. They got a memo yesterday advising of the delay. When I orig ordered I was advised 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Now it seems who knows.
Punisher I also had a concern regarding possible keying or damage to the bike. I had posted earlier asking the same question. All the responses were positive as to no damage. Now if we could just get the bikes.
My dealer submitted my order last week, and they were saying November, then came back with sometime in October. I not in a big yank for the bike, I've still got my 07 VRSCAW.
Thats good they arent putting on a big ole badge or something goofy. I like the decal just fine.
My dealer also advised my 08 UG POSE's delivery will be delayed until "sometime" in October. Ordered the black with security system i early August. Lot's of my buddies have the POSE and have never had a problem with "keying" or vendelism...

Regarding vandalism... I THINK someone smacked my tank with something hard/sharp when I was out in Sturgis. Right side, right in the tank emblem is a small dent (smaller than a pea). Not in the right location for a rock or anything unintentional if you ask me. Barely noticeable (I didn't notice until the post-Sturgis scrub down), so I'm not gonna worry about it until I repaint someday. Pisses me off though!
