Default Bag liners

Advanblack bag liners. Bag screws won't click when tightened. Seems all the way tight. Worried about if the screws will loosen when riding. Anybody have experience with this

Assuming you have an older bike with the twist lock bales, convert them to the newer screw in ones.

I have Advanblack bag liners with Rik Rak sure klick fasteners. The fasteners wouldn't klick due to the slippery surface of the liners. Rik Rak suggested installing a thin rubber fender washer between the fastener's dimpled washers and the liners. That fixed the issue.

I have the H-D fitted liners which are thicker than the AB liners. I also have similar bag screws like barneyboy and have no issues.

The issue with the Advanblack liners is they cover the rubber grommets in the bags. The dimpled washers on my fasteners were designed to grip the grommets. Installing the rubber fender washers give the dimpled washers something to grip.

Small holes in Advanblack liners cover grommets.

The larger holes in the HD liners leave the face of the grommets exposed.

I wasn't sure what the OP had if it was the DSUS or what.

I have the HD inserts, they work, and fit, well. I don't recall them being very expensive, for Harley gear.

Quick trip to tractor supply and just under 4 dollars and all is good. Clicks and locks like normal.
