Default Leaking coolant.

Ok so first issue with this new to me 2014 CVO Ultra Limited. Went about 40 kms today and got gas. When I was done filling up someone yelled to me that the bike was leaking fuel. When I looked it was a light watered down reddish color and looks to be coolant. About 30 mins later I pulled over to put my phone on charge in the tour pak and was stopped for about a minute and it leaked again. I believe both times the bike was leaning far left because the steering was all the way left. I just got home and the steering is pretty much straight ahead if not a little more to the right and I don't see it leaking. ( not yet anyway). I assume this isn't normal ! The small leak is the 1st stop and the long leak is the 2nd stop.

My last 2 Harley's (21 & 23) have both leaked coolant. One was the radiator and hoses and the second was a lower hose on the radiator. HD hose clamps are a crimp on (on the M8 models, not sure about your year) and you cannot tighten them, just replace them. It looks like it could be your pump as that is what is behind that housing you see the coolant dripping from.

Well it looks like a phone call on Monday to the place I bought it! I guess I'll see how they take care of their customers!

One possibility is the radiator cap. I had a similar issue, turns out radiator cap failed pressure test. Replaced radiator cap, no issues. Definitely see if they can do a pressure test.

Same with my 21 RGL, at about 6k miles started dripping coolant, found the filler hose was loose at the radiator and the filler cap. Picked up a new piece of hose from a local NAPA store and a couple of screw hose clamps. 45k miles later no leaks since.

First remove the cover from the right lower fairing when it is cold. With the bike on the jiffy stand, check the coolant level in the resevoir.. Should be at the fill cold line.
It could have been your bike dumping fluid throught the overflow. Then make sure the radiator cap in on tight. It is real hard to get in there but check the obvious first.
Third, look at the pump. Pull off the cover and look for where the fluid is coming from, is it a clamp or the pump?

If your bike has the new design pump, it has been a good pump, but if it has the old style pump, break out your Visa.

Ok so the day I got the bike I posted a question on how to open that stupid door. Lol. I thought it was a storage compartment behind there. One response wasn't to friendly.Forgot it was a liquid cooled bike.

Pull the cover off and it looks like the reservoir is just about completely empty.

If you just bought the bike take it back to the dealer you bought it from and see if they will fix it for free. Or at least give you a break on the new style pump.
