Now that I got your attention haha…I stripped down the rear of my 07 Electra Gide to do some much needed deep cleaning and prep for installing a new Nasty Hog chopped rear fender and bags and I must say; I actually really like the naked-ness of the bike in this state.

Don’t get me wrong, a bagger is a bagger is a bagger and I’m more than used to the look with her in her full bagged-out glory, but this look could grow on me for less-than true touring trips!

Not sure how I’d really make the side/rear braces and bag supports quick-disconnect but to get here only took about 5-10 minutes. Re-assembly would probably take 10-15 minutes. Hmmm

 

It’s your ride, make it the way you want. It looks good either way.

 

Ride it like that for awhile enjoy it, the put the new parts on.

 

People have been doing this for a while. I just wish someone would make replacement side covers for that w/o the bags look and fender strut covers that attach onto the bag mounts.
