Now that I got your attention haha I stripped down the rear of my 07 Electra Gide to do some much needed deep cleaning and prep for installing a new Nasty Hog chopped rear fender and bags and I must say; I actually really like the naked-ness of the bike in this state.
Dont get me wrong, a bagger is a bagger is a bagger and Im more than used to the look with her in her full bagged-out glory, but this look could grow on me for less-than true touring trips!
Not sure how Id really make the side/rear braces and bag supports quick-disconnect but to get here only took about 5-10 minutes. Re-assembly would probably take 10-15 minutes. Hmmm
People have been doing this for a while. I just wish someone would make replacement side covers for that w/o the bags look and fender strut covers that attach onto the bag mounts.
