How long are your legs? I have a 36 inch inseam. I have bad knees and hips and have found the police solo seat really good for me. Just rode 300 mile on Friday, and then 300 miles back on Sunday.

Until i had my hip replaced i was in pain every time i rode. My stock seat does not seem to bad to me. I do hear alot of good things about the Hammock.
Maybe give Mean City seats a call.

Heres the thing - We're all different. I have a spinal injury and have/had the same issue. I found the Hammock seat to be the best (for me). I also sent a seat to Mean City who did a great job for my need..

I had a Mustang Supertour on my 07 FLHTC and loved it, on my Tri Glide I have an Ultimate tallboy with backrest and also love it. No matter how comfortable they are my hips get tired. Im leaving in 11 days for upper Michigan trip and will be using my Airhawk, on and off under my sheepskin
I will start a prednisone regimen before I leave. Aging is tricky. I should be in better shape though, that would alleviate some issues.

I'm 6'3", and I weigh in at 220#, and just turn 65. For me, I gotta have the Tall Boy floorboard extenders that brings my knees down, and hips relief, I've tried Corbins (where quality has become an issue, IMO), Saddleman, Mustang, Harley, and even Mean City Cycles (which does a GREAT job in improving your current seat). All that being said, I recently (about a year ago) bought a Lucky Dave seat. For me it is comfortable on long rides, and doesn't look like an overstuffed chair.
