Upper engine squeek, horn mount, other
Just adding a personal experience here as others may be helped. a Couple months ago during a trip in wet weather the bike developed a squeek at low idle, like under load at low RPM when leaving in 1st gear rain or shine. When I got home I sat in driveway trying to make it happen and did. I would grab the horn and it would stop, so I took horn off and cleaned it all up, put a small amount of silicon spray on mounts and remounted. Seemed better but not gone. Well after a little time it never really got better. Randomly one evening on another trip a few weeks later I was surfing forums laying in bed in hotel and saw someone say if you grab the horn and it goes away its the upper mount or stabilizers. Well I stopped at a relatives house on the way home for a visit and thought I would mess with it there as I had already looked into lower mounts when i looked at horn. Well for lack of something better I used a little WD40 and sprayed a bit on the top of each connection of the stabilizer which looks new and left for home hearing the squeek right when I left, leaving the driveway. By the time I got home 160 miles later however the squeek was gone, yesterday I tried my hardest to get it to return and could not after bike sat a couple days. So for someone with an odd faint annoying chirp at low RPM just below engine idle when leaving stop lights, stop signs, moving in traffic, and it goes away when you grab the horn, check your upper mount. I assume I got a little moisture in there when we rode wet and maybe created a little dirty spot sitting overnight that needed some extra convincing with a little of the ol Water Displacement/40 spray.

I have an annoying squeak at idle. Never tried the horn thing but will. Mine sounded like the muffler bearings ,so I sprayed some oil in there . It seemed to help a little but not totally. I will try as you suggested to see if that’s the issue,
