Bar height and cable length
I have a 2009 Road King Classic and am putting a set of 12" apes on.
Can anyone tell me what size cables / wiring extensions I will need? + 6" or + 4" ??

Check with Magnum Shielding. They have charts, and phones with real people to ask. Complete kits also. Google them.

I will google them. I live in Australia so it makes phone calls difficult.

It's been awhile but I think 12s require plus 2?? 10 can be done with simple re routing of the clutch I believe. I did mine a decade ago with 14s and I have no idea what I got lol. There are a million threads about this. You can prob search for 12in bars and find an exact answer.

I installed 14s on my '08 FLHT, and went 6 over on the cables. Same with wires, all internal in the bars. Didn't actually need that much as it turned out, but better a bit long than too short.
