I ride Mustang seats on my cycles. Yes, they feel very firm (initially) but firmer seats will actually be more comfortable in the long run. I know that's counter-intuitive but true for many riders.

There are some HD dealers that have "demo" seats (Mustang, Corbin etc).....I strongly suggest to check around or call a seat manufacturer and see if you can try some demo seats first....ride each for an hour or two and then re-evaluate.

Good luck.

All my previous Corbin seats were firm. I had Corbin on 3 bikes that were all day riders. The first 500-1000 miles was not so good. But after a few days in the warm (hot) Florida sun, and riding 1000 miles, the seat was great.

Now my favorite seat is the Harley Police seat on my 2019 FLHTP.

As others have said, Mean City Cycles give fantastic results. He can change how high or low you sit, trim the seat if you have trouble reaching the ground, move you back a little if needed, uses double memory foam that is really comfortable. And he knows bikes and knows what is good as he rides as well. They also make an appointment date, you ship your seat just before that date, and a few days after the appointment they ship the completed seat back to you.

Mean City Cycles modded the Mustang seats on my last two Glides.

Then I bought a police bike and I’m running the stock seat. It’s wonderful.

I use Airhawk seat cushions, I don't do any long rides without them.
