Default PROVENT ENGINE BREATHER

I don't understand how this cam cover vent works to reduce crankcase pressure. If anyone here has one, or knows how it works, I love to understand it better.

For an M8 the HD transmission cover from the 2024 model can be had for 80 bucks and does a great job of venting.

I can't really answer your question 702, but for that price, I'd better see a hot chick come suck the pressure off my crankcase!!

Well, that is where the oil pump is located and likely the shortest route for venting out windage pressure. It is NOT cost effective though.

Appears to really be for high performance builds. That price just does not make sense. I assume they developed this on their King of the Bagger race bikes. It probably works, but is probably for maybe 10% of the builds out there. If you want it you will pay! R&D is expensive.

Yeah that's absurd. The HD unit or even the Trask will be more than good enough at a fraction of the price. I can vouch for the Trask unit firsthand as I recently checked my intake after 8,000 miles and there wasn't a drop of oil. The HD unit works the exact same way. It was just backordered at the time I needed something.
