The Same yet So Different
Well sure.... anyone can do the responsible thing...
But once & awhile, you got to live on the edge..!
FWIW...
Better to have two bikes with one loan, than 2 loans with one bike...
I bought a new '78 Low Rider in May of '78. I had to finance and it cost me $148/month for 3 years.
In Sept of '78, I moved to CA. Things cost more out here v back home. I was looking for a new, affordable Ins policy in Oct of '79. My old one ran out, and my bike got stolen a week later..
I "wisely" bought another Harley (instead of a car). I got a new '80 Low Rider, financed at $168/month for 3 years.
So for just under two years I was paying 2 HD loans ($316/month) for one HD bike...
I've never let any Insurance lapse since...

Laughs aside, if you really have to downsize to just one bike, I'd choose the one I saw more of a future with.

What you don't see in the photo is the 3rd bike in the garage. My wife's 2016 Dyna street bob. lol

I have a lien on the RKS. So winning this other bike feels like I should use that to be lien free on one bike vs 2 with one. But who knows. lol
