Default saddlebag guards

Never had saddlebag guards before. Looking at all the options out there from OEM to hogworkz, advanblack, amazon versions, drag specialties. What have you gone with? I see 1.25" or 7/8" thickness. Which ones do people prefer?

I LIKE it!.....probably because I have the same guards on my 2015 Ultra Limited Low. Can't beat the "classic look" as well as the protection they provide.

I see everyone used Harley saddlebag guards so far. Has anyone used Hogworkz or advanblacks saddle bag guards? Harley guards are 1.25" diameter were the other two are 7/8" diameter.

You can get whatever diameter you like. Some like to match the diameter of the crash bars and maybe the fat handle bars.

I bought drag specialties and sent them back. They bolted up fine and the finish was nice, but the right side saddle bag lid hit the bar when open, and the gap between the saddle bags and the bars were drastically different on each side. It's possible I got a bad set, but if I don't sell this bike & trade up I'll just get the OEM ones.
