Curious why you think a BCM would need to be reset?

Might want to check for codes before resetting the BCM...

To reset the BCM...

Disconnect battery cables (Negative first, then Positive) after making sure the security is disarmed.

I leave it disconnected about 20-30 min, then just before reconnecting, briefly touch the Pos & Neg battery cables together.

Reconnect the battery cables (Positive first, then Negative).

The BCM should be reset.

If it has changed due to the newer ECMs, I am unaware of the changes... Someone will surely correct me...

Might want to go thru your connectors with some dielectric grease, something got wet.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Probably got a connector wet between the BCM and ABS modules, that caused the temp comm failure until it dried up.....

A judicious use of water when washing goes a long way...

Some things to to try that would prevent this....

Anytime I undo a connector for checks, mods, or maintenance... I add dielectric grease to the sealing portions on the connector.

When washing a bike I always try not to introduce water directly at electrical connections.. Certainly not pressure washers.

I often "dry" my bikes with one of the blower/driers on the market... Luckily, I bought mine before they got very expensive. Some just use a leaf blower. I focus the drier on any electrical connections that got wet..

I've yet to have this issue on my bikes after washing...
