I would contact Saddlemen and ask the cost to have it recovered. I had a Corbin seat on my last bike and took it off when I traded it in. Sent it back to Corbin to have it recovered to match new bike. It was less than half the price of a new seat. They said the seat pan was a big part of the total cost and they could just recover my original seat pan. If you explain to Saddleman your mistake, they might even work with you on the price.
I think it looks good, and I like the fact that he didn't come here to rage against Saddleman for not recovering it for free.
OP I know how confusing custom seat orders can be, I have made 2 C&C Custom purchases, now, and those lists are LONG. Easy to miss something, if you aren't careful!
Thanks all! I appreciate it. I like the seat too I really do. It's not that I am replacing it because it's bad (It could've defaulted to pink!). It's just not what I wanted. My mistake will cost $199 to correct since Saddlemen has an awesome token option to fix/replace aspects of a seat.
Someone asked for the whole bike shot here you go.
I don't hate it believe me! But when I have something in my mind of what I wanted and planned for, I cannot seem to let go. lol Perhaps OCD? ha
Here is how I wanted it to be. What it should've looked like
I like the look as well. As many compliments you've had here, post it in the classifieds here in the forum. Someone might just be in the market for a seat they didn't even know they wanted!
