Chubby wild1's mini apes 10',absolutely a perfect fit for me,a few inches back and a few inches up.Can't believe how comfortable they are.You need all new cables, but when it's done you'll think, why the f#@k didn't I do this a long time ago?
Wild 1's 518s. They are pretty much the same shape as the stock bars but they are a little wider, a little longer and a little higher. I love mine just did a trip out west, over 4600 miles and I love them. Before my new bars it hurt to go 300-400 miles at once. If you try them you will never have a bike without them again.
RKC2003,.........Iappreciate the thought process you are going through on finding the right pair of handlebars for your ride. It is a big decision, and can cost a nice chunk of change if you have someone change everything out. I am on my third pair, and have finally found the right handle bar for me. I went with the Wild1 517's. Your decision is a totally subjective, and my only advice would be to understand the options (and they are many), take your time, understand the dimensions charts, and make a good choice for you. Many will agree that the stock buckhorns on the FLHRC don't cut it on the long runs.
