Hello from Akron, I have a 2012 Electra-glide Classic which I love, but I have developed a leak and not sure where its coming from.Any help would be appreciated
.
First order is a paint brush and liquid detergent. Clean it up and then check after a short slow speed drive. Keep the wind down.
Sure there are sprays that do it to.
I don't see any drips. A 2012 has had a lot of heat and cool downs. Harley has come a long way with sealants on gaskets. Metal moving around breaks it and you get a weap.
When I checked my tensioners on my 04, that cover was really stuck.
Sometimes, it's easier to just clean up a little weep a little more often.
Now it should not drip. That's a leak.

@12classic rider I have moved this thread from the Welcome section to the Touring Models section as you will get better responses to your question in this section.
The Welcome section is more for introducing yourself & letting other forum members know what Harley Davidson you own, not asking technical related questions.
