I can’t seem to find a jacket that I like. I have a jacket from back of my sport bike days. That is fantastic, but it doesn’t fit well while I’m on my road glide. It is a ventilated leather jacket from Vanson. I have a Harley leather jacket that a friend of mine gave me, but the sleeves are just a bit narrow and a bunch up on the inner part of my elbow and just creates a pressure point that I don’t like plus it’s not cut great for me because the torso is snug, but the shoulders are quite loose. Back in the day I had a miss jacket that fit fantastic but it said Honda on it so I gave it away with the sale of my sport bike. So I’m looking for options for either mesh or textile that work for me. What do you guys tend to ride with? Let me know.
and I don’t know why I would prefer not to have Harley plastered all over the back of the jacket otherwise I would just go find one at the dealership.

Vanson is the best of the best so if you're used to that, when you get something that is not up to par - it's bothersome.
A lot of "cool" people get Klim. Their stuff doesn't fit my sasquatch self. I have a Harley FXRG jacket for winter and my Joe Rocket mesh jacket for most of the year. I have worn the mesh with its liner (which is very plasticky and not my favorite) down to about 50 degrees F with a couple base layers. It really is quite flexible. Joe Rocket jackets fit me well and have decent adjustability.
FXRG is harley's top of the line but I don't think they maintain that product line like they used to. It's more understated in advertising the moco. Ebay has some great options. Warning about FXRG - the armor pockets are not of modern style so for instance, you can't fit a newer type spine protector in it without some modification. It still works out great. They run large - I think intentionally for base layer addition. So if one wears an XL, it will be large on the XL side. If you keep an eye out - they have tall variations too. Size charts seem pretty accurate.

In the summer, I use a mesh jacket. In the winter, I use an Aerostitch Jacket and add liners to suit my needs.
I'll second the Fox Creek Leather if you want leather. Great for cooler weather riding, but I also have a RevIt mesh jacket for warmer weather. Revzilla has some nice selections on the better brand textiles.
If you like vanson they make a bunch of different styles for different riding styles, i just picked up a model b a few weeks ago. Also check out z custom leathers, ill be ordering from them in the next week or so, they made the harley and marlboro man jacket. Z is the best price ive found on a 100% custom made to measure jacket, right around the 600$ price point.
Jersey, I use Tourmaster for cold weather riding. The rest of the time it's various thickness HD hoodies. I suffer in the heat so no black colored, mesh-armor jacket for me.
I have a KLIM winter jacket that I also use for snowmobiling. It is cut bigger and longer. I've also found the most of the HD stuff is that way too.
I am not an ATGATT man. Tees and jeans. Sometimes my old school denim riding vest. Facebook and eBay for jackets & rain gear.
For rain gear, I always ask how old is it. Nothing I've ever owned that is water proof stays water proof. It degrades with age and sunlight.
