So this happened in Spring of '24, so I haven't been on here much in a while. Feel like I just got her rebuilt in black and back on the road, but I guess that was back in '20. I was really enjoying the black and chrome and not at all ready for a new bike...
Elderly lady made a left in front of me, attempting to angle into an approach a little further down the street so we hit almost head on. Dad saw pics and said it was quite an advert for Harley Davidson, and while she's not rebuild-able this time around, I feel like we at least made our presence known on the way out.
Damn shame, but glad you're still above ground to ride another day. Hope you're doing well (physically/mentally) and can get back in the saddle...soon.
I fought the exact fight in april 2017. I lost... hurts w every step and multiple surgeries later..... Road Glide totaled. Toyota heavily damaged then we heavily damaged the driver in court.... I got rearended while moving... joys of texting....

I was on my way to Illinois for vacation when I got rear ended in Indiana by some 71 year old lady from Ohio. Ruined my vacation and caused a headache (not physically but just dealing with insurance and dealer for repairs) that I am still dealing with 2 months later. The accident happened June 28th...

4/7/17 I got rear ended doing 35 to 40 on US22 in NJ. This ******* was texting and didnt see we were all slowing down for the red light. Spine, leg, knee, foot injuries as his right side fender hit my rear fender and left saddle bag. 63 miles on a brand new RGU. 73 year old belligerent MF'er... Thank the lord a NJ Trooper was 1 car back on my left and a Robert Wood nurse was also right there.. He was destroyed in court and then in civil court...
Mine was 2/28/1975, 71 Chevy Impala doing 55 blasted through an intersection because some enterprising person stole the stop signs. Hit me flush, throwing motorcycle 100 yards down the road, I hit hood, windshield then back off front of the car. when car and me stopped, I could touch the bumper, had 2 left knees (snapped femur), along with every bone in left leg broken, what was left of left ankle 6" up the shin bone, and a cracked and twisted pelvis. Kept me out of a 10 year ride in the Air Force and 6 months of my life before I could walk again.
