Hi. I ride a 2013 FLHTK. I noticed that the adjustable deflectors on the lower fairings were getting loose, so I tightened the bolts. I didn't realize that whatever the bushing (??? ) is that the bolt goes through had dried out and cracked. Is there a part name for that item? Has anyone done their own fix? No, I don't want to just take them off or let them flop around.
Is there a parts diagram somewhere?
Yes I had that same problem too. The little rubber type grommet is called compression spring pn 58104-05. However you need 2 and they’re over $12 apiece from HD! I ordered entire hardware kit “Lower Vented Fairing Mounting Hardware Clip Clamps Fit For Harley Touring 83-13” for $18 on eBay.
