As to this situation, if that movement really bothers you, look at the mount and see it if it worn and larger than new. If it is, lay a bead of weld in the grove and file it to where you are happy with the fit. I usually have to do this about the 100k mile mark on my ElectraGlides.

Or buy a part under $40 that bolts on faster than you can fire up the welder.
I think Harley has just a bit more satisfied customers on those "stupid sloppy kickstands".
I've seen many a wobbled out factory part my friend. Ready to actually drop the bike. But this is more for piece of mind and just making your bike the way you want it to be. We have sold several hundred of them and people are very satisfied. 👍🏻 Thanks for looking at our stuff though!
