Default Need help with my 2001 road king

I am building a 2001 Harley road king. I purchased the frame and I’m going to build it piece by piece. Does anyone know where I can find a video or website that would walk me through how to build a motorcycle step by step? I’ve built a 1979 c10 already from the ground up so I’m ready for a motorcycle. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

The place to start is getting a factory service manual and read through it. There's a lot of details that more than likely would not be covered by a video, that is if you can find a video like you're looking for.

Having the PARTS manual would be a great help

They have pretty good parts illustration on-line. Hope link below works. I second the need for factory service manual. I have one for 2001 touring bikes if you just need a few pages I can copy for you.

If you only have the frame, I might suggest using improved rear swingarm from 2002 and later. (up to 2007 I think?) You will need transmission that accepts later swingarm pivot bolt size, and also appropriate rear wheel/bearings/axle, spacers, sprocket, belt, caliper, etc.. And if going fuel injection also use 2002 and newer stuff. (Delphi rather than MM) I have a 2001 so I know about these things firsthand.
