A very nice video....a few years ago (pre-pandemic) I took a tour of the HD engine plant in Wisconsin that was very interesting. I would encourage anyone who happens to find themselves near a HD factory to take a tour. Also glad they mentioned a filmed the Uke's Harley Davidson dealership in Kenosha, WI. My "go to" dealership with a great staff and a cool museum of vintage HD cycles.

Nice video...

Good marketing at it's finest... Something HD has always been good at...

They are just saying and presenting their "current products" in the way they think will sell them... truth be damned.

HD corporate is void of any credibility in my opinion...

There is a place in that video where they talk about a Harley being a "family heirloom" to be passed down to newer generations... yeah right

I have a bagger that's not even 10 years old, and I have to get replacement parts from the aftermarket, because fuel system components are no longer available.

Don't BS me about a Harley being an heirloom when many dealers won't even work on a 10 year old bike.

You can tell HD corporate is lying, by when their lips are moving...

Love my Harley bikes, the current HD Motor Company not so much..

Is this recent or did they always do this? For example, in 1980s, if you brought your 1940s bike, would they work on it?

I don't know the answer to that question.

I remember the dealer that did the service on my then new 1980 FXS Low Rider, also worked on Pan Heads and Knuckle heads. That is where I saw my first really pristine knuckle head that sparked my love of knuckles and pans...

I am aware that the MoCo is quickly reducing their parts support for older bikes. I never had a problem getting parts for my '01 & '03 Softails until about 5 years ago when they were pushing 20 years old.

So for a 15- 18 yr old bike I could get parts. It then suddenly dried up. Now my bagger is less than 10 years old, and a bunch of parts are no longer available on the HD OEM Service Parts site.

I've heard this was an intentional move to push people into buying new bikes...

If so, it didn't work on me.. I have 4 Twin Cams with no plans to buy a new HD bike in my future...

My dealer tells me they will work on anything '03 and newer. Not sure what the magic is in '03. When we bought my wife's '16 earlier this year, I had to ask if it was worth getting the ESP since it would be 10 years old next year. They said not issue and that's when I found out how old of a bike they would work on. We just used that ESP to get an oil leak fixed, got the bike back today. They said it was the inner primary seal.

I am interested to see the new Limiteds in January. The '25 Ultra just seemed a bit lacking in features compared to my Limited. I hope they add all the missing content, or maybe add things the older ones never had.

That's good to hear some dealers are still working on older bikes...

This is the "teaser". I'm more interested in the January reveal.
