Default Which Model year
Hi All Just want to check what I think I know, is a bike that has the build date of 10/00 an 00 or an 01 model?

Mostly likely going to be an 01 model as they usually start making the next years model in late summer/early fall. I assume if you have the build date you also have the VIN. the 10th digit will designate the year. "Y" will be 00 model and "1" will be an 01 model.

I suppose I should say the reason behind the question. The bike hasn't had the cam tensioners replaced and its done 50K Km's, but which kit do I order, the one without the cam sensor or the one with?

Look at the cam chest cover and see of it has a CPS, it routes in from the outside. My guess is that it does not have one.

I bought a 2001 super glide and I just bought new tensioner shoes and installed them.
