Anyone know if they have the push button fuel door yet for the 08 models? Dealer said prior part number won't work for new 6 gallon tanks. Anyone try the older one to see if it fits?
Assuming that it's built similar to prior years...if you don't want to futz with having to open it with the key, just open the door, take the nut off the bottom of the lock, turn the lock 180 degrees so that the latch is inward and reinstall. The door will lie down just fine, it doesn't vibrate or rattle and all you have to do at the gas stop is lift it up.
I had a push button on the 07,, tokk it off and tried it on the 08,,would NOT work,
like the little black tab wasnt long enuff to catch.. and I tried all the tricks, cause it would have saved me $
Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Someone who tried it. Anyone know if 08's are out yet?
