Default Security on 01 Ultra Classic

can I buy my ECM and my tssm from separate individuals have these married together to my bike so it will crank I've had I've got security issues

If you buy functional, used components, and the TSSM is unlocked, then a dealer or a couple other diagnostic tools can get them working together.

If you buy a used, locked TSSM, without the proper key FOB to unlock it... I don't think you will be able to use it...

2001 Touring was not j1850. If you are having security issues I can't see it being your ECM. The ECM will be very expensive. What exactly is your issue?
