After my mishap back in Sept, I decided to move off the Dyna and onto something a little more comfortable for the 1000+ mile weekends my wife and I are planning. I rode her 2014 Softail Slim for a couple of weeks while waiting for the Dyna parts to come in so I could get it repaired and really liked the ride. While she was out of the country visitng our son in Engand, I decided to swing by the local Harley Shop to see what they had on the floor. I found a beautiful 2017 FLTRXS with only 6,700 miles on it!! I took it out for a spin and was in love! I took advantage of the wife being away and brought it home. When she got back, she decided to take it for a spin and also fell in love!! So, back to the Harley Shop we went and picked out a 2025 FLTRX in Purple Abyss Denim for her. We are now on proper touring bikes that will serve us well into the future. We are already planning several out of town weekend trips and even a trip to Mexico in the fall.
