Just ordered one on amazon little cheaper then PC. My question is anyone using one ? I was thinking my bike is getting older now 70K so thinking better filtration would extend its life. Or am I just wasting money that I can buy drugs and alcohol, even the loose woman don't want anything to do with me now.

Yes, you are. My vote is "drugs and alcohol."
I always figured cleaning those permanent filters would be a big mess unless you had the right equipment, like a parts washer. You'd end up with used oil and used kerosene (or gasoline?) from cleaning out the filter. Versus tossing the old filter in a coffee can and taking it to O'Reilly to recycle.

One use for those reusable filters is their short length. Some oil cooler adapters (particularly some with built in thermostats) require their use to keep the filter from hitting the shift lever. I got one with my Oil Bud oil cooler for my 23 Limited.
