In dire need of practical help. Tones of contradictory information online 🙏
So, I've got a 2004 FLHRS. Put a lot of tuning in it, finished with rear stabilizing link and Alloy Art swingarm reinforcement bushings. Now I do feel that at 65+ mph my front end is feeling a bit light, especially during riding an uneven road or when there are wing gusts.
First question. I've read about the Fall-Away test.
If I'm right, for Touring models it is really a Swing test, where the front wheel has to do 3.5 swings, right?
Second question: for '04 model should it be 3.5 or 2.0-3.0 swings like in M1246 bulletin for 2009+ models? Some users say M1246 is better for all years of Touring bikes
Third question:
Judging from what I have now (left - 1 swing, right - 0.5 swing), the setup is too tight. But when I go to 3.5, the fork will play suspiciously extensively. Is it ok?
