RE: And now for something completely different....
Very cool bike, it reminds me of a Valkyrie somewhat. That is why I rode valks for years and never really wanted a Harley. Pull up to a light and there sits everyone on a Harley, usually a batwing bike. So, I buy a Road Glide because you rarely would see them. Now 3 or 4 people I ride withhave RG's. So much for trying to be original!!
Good luck with the scoot, I bet that rascal is a beast!!!

Cool bike dude
I'd like to hear more about how you like it.
I've always liked Triumphs the first bike I ever rode on my brother's Triumph by in '68.
I was looking hard at a Triumph Speedmaster last year as a 2nd bike

Yeah, Triumph pretty much adopted an "in your face" attitude with respect to the radiator. I like "in your face". Over the years manufacturers have gone to great lengths to conceal the fact that their bikes were water cooled. We've seen everything from fake air cooling fins to ultra slim, well-hidden radiators. The designers at Triumph aparently said "it is what it is - deal with it". Huge rear tire, huge front tire, fat gas tank, fat forks, wide handlebars, why not a huge radiator? What a polarizing thread this has turned out to be. Personally, I love the Rocket. It's a torque monster, and it looks so unique. I love the way people stare at it when I ride by. Love it or hate it, it's definitely a beast. I remember my first street bike was a 750. At the time I thought it was huge. This bike has 3 cylinders, each of which is larger than my first 750! The pistons are the same size as those in a Dodge Viper. The motor is way undertuned though - lots of untapped potential that I'm going to do my best to bring out. 140 horsepower really isn't that much for a 140ci mill. But the torque!!! The Rocket is an absolute blast (no pun intended) to ride.
