Default No Mufflers - Problems?

I am changing out exhaust tonight and just wondered if it could cause any damage to start the bike without mufflers? 2005 Road King Custom F.I.

I don't plan on riding the bike - I just want to be a dumb a$$ and hear the noise without mufflers.

Thanks

[sm=joke.gif]Start it, listen, and shut it off. No problem.

I was just worried that it might toss a error in the computer. Thanks for the reply.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I am sure not every is as amused as I am with the noise, but that rocked. I just started the bike without pipes - I have never tried that before. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I use to do PR at a NASCAR track and it reminded me of the Cup cars in the garage. That is a good sound.
That sound made me smile really big! HAHAHAHAHA

I wanted to do that with my 08 but after waiting 6 years to buy this thing i figured on doing one less stupid thing on my list of smooth moves i follow everyday would be a good thing. Next time use video so i can see and hear.

I am going to finish the install (hopefully) tonight. I will try to get a quick video - I expect the audio will not work so well - it was pretty loud. hahaha.
I am not sure I would try it on an '08 either - my '05 has a few less wires and gizmos.
