I did call J & M. 3 times now. Have been very nice to themon the phone, understanding that UPS and Fedex do mess up. They are sticking with the ..It's a UPS problem.
If the shipper addressed the package correctly, it is a UPS problem. The shipper loses control over the package once it leaves their dock. Now if they addressed the package incorrectly, that's another deal. If you have the tracking number, that will tell you what address they entered into the system.
Ok Now I have spoken to them again, J & M and they track down the speakers which are now in transit from somewhere up North to Atlanta. They said it should be here by the 17th, mean while I have my faring opened up and the old speakers out. So much for the weekend ride, should have waited until I had them in hand...and yea the are still sticking with the UPS thing. Who is John that everyone keeps speaking off?
By the way the stock speakers are really wimpy as far as speakers are concerned, I really do look forward to getting a new set in there and hearing the sound. I do love the sound of my bike but I am also a guitar player and like to listen to music while I take the longer trips. Anyway who ever John is, please let me know
Your missing the point....it doesn't matter WHO is at fault, he paid J&M the money for the speakers......its their responsibility to make it right...PERIOD. Too many people in the service industry want to assign blame to somone besides themselves, no one wants to ACCEPT responsibility for ANYTHING, they just want to pass the buck. Good companies find a way to make it right (no matter what it takes) without putting the blame on someone else. Its not the customers responsibility to figure out what happened, its the company hePAID the money to. off rant

He's on here ALL the time (except for now) hawking his speakers (check any of the other speaker threads) I think he is the J in J&M. IMO they should have sent them overnight to ya so you could have em for the weekend. THAT'S what an outstanding company would have done, Oh well, you'll know better next time.
I've had orders from places get shipped to the wrong address and everytime it was the
vendor putting the wrong address on the label, never once was the shipper, remember if
anyone does this to you immediately call your credit card company and have them give
em hell works very good, a company has alot more leverage than you do and lawyers
to.
You live in N. Atlanta, play guitar (hence the Scofield I guess), and ride... are we related?Hey, PM me if interested in jamming or riding sometime. I will give you my website address.
A couple months back I ordered the J & M upgrades. The service was great and the sound is awesome. One pissed off dude even noted that "your dam music is even louder than your dam Harley! hahaha Imagine that! [8D]
