I have recently bought a set of JBL's for the front of my 07 Ultra. Does anyone have a clue if they will fit in the rear pods as well? Or is there mods that can be done to make them fit? Or should I just buy from J & M? I would like to keep my speakers all the same brand if I can.
Find out for sure before buying them. I think the rear pods have a slighly smaller area on the back side, necessitation a speaker with a smaller magnet/mounting depth.
Seems like most 5.25 speakers fit. I started with the Infinity Kappas for the front and back but didn't like them. They were way too bright. Point is they fit in the rear pods no problem and they had crossovers. Just switched to the MB Quart and again no problem on the fit. The MBs rock. Personally, I think they could use a bit more juice to really bring them alive. Guess that will be my next quest: an amp for the stock HK stereo.
an amp will bring the MB Quart alive --- they can handle the power ---
