I loved it. Saw it a few times in the theater, and bought it the day it came out. For me, it is a blast. I find myself really relating to the characters (as I get older). Sure wish I could just hop on a bike and take off.
I thought it was cool that the bikes weren't just completely stock. Each had some accents and the fact that the Sporty had upgraded pipes added a realistic touch. Either way it was entertaining. Surprisingly decent movie.
She is past her prime. Used to beOK looking back when she first arrived on the scene... now though, not so much! I mean, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't kick her our of bed for eatin' crackers
Every year about this time I take 4-5 days and head up into the mountains to recharge. No plans, no destination. Just my bike, a tent and some time. The other 360 days of the year I could pass for the Tim Allen character in Wild Hogs. (Without the patch)
Since I've been back, two people have said "Oh... you mean like in Wild Hogs?" when I told them how I spent the week.
I think the movie is the next step in a progression thathas kept me out of thedealer's showroom for the last 15 years. I hope it will be an inspiration for some riders to get out and learn what they really bought when they plunked down $20K plus $8 in accessories for that shiny investment sitting in the trailer/garage.
That said, I thought it was a pretty funny, albeit far fetched biker flick that presented stereotypical rubs against stereotypical 1%-ers.When I saw it I may have been the only one in the theater who appreciated Peter Fonda's appearance at the end.
